Tim is a native of the Lehigh Valley, currently living in Allentown with his wife of 29 years and together they have two grown children. He graduated with a Bachelor of Social Science from Penn State University in 1976 and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Kutztown University in 1981. He gained his License to practice Psychology in Pennsylvania in 1990 and has operated a solo private practice since that time. Prior to opening his private practice Tim worked as a Counselor for a variety of child welfare and counseling agencies in the Lehigh Valley.
The majority of his practice consists of work with children, adolescents, and their families. He works with clients as young as 4 years old through adulthood. He has a great deal of experience working with children and adolescents who have Learning Disabilities, Cognitive Impairments, MR, ADHD, Disorders of Conduct, Anxiety and Depression, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Issues surrounding Adoption, Foster Care, Child Abuse, and Adjustment to Divorce.
Tim also works with both individual adults and couples and has completed 60 hours of training for the treatment of Problem Gambling.
Tim is of the Christian Faith and for those who choose is comfortable utilizing spirituality as part of the therapeutic process and working with issues surrounding ones faith.
Tim is an active member of both the Pennsylvania Psychological Association and the Lehigh Valley Psychological & Counseling Association. The latter of which he is a Fellow and past President.
